Q: Is it difficult to find a home to buy, when we have a house to sell in the current market?

A: Coordination, experience and communication are key in the current low inventory market. Our brokers are all very qualified to help you navigate the obstacles and find you that home you have been dreaming of.

 

Q: Can you help us buy or sell equestrian (horse) properties?

A: Yes. We have several brokers who specialize in the specific needs of horse enthusiasts. Some of our brokers spend a lot of time in the barns, arenas and on trails, themselves.

 

Q: Are there special programs for veterans and active duty military?

A: Yes. Most lenders offer special programs for veterans and active duty military such as zero down payment financing if qualified.

 

Q: Do you help first time buyers find their first home?

A: Yes. We are passionate about the benefits of home ownership and work hard to help all first time buyers achieve that dream.

 

Q: Do you only sell homes in Maple Valley, WA?

A: We cover the entire Central Puget Sound area from Olympia to Everett and beyond. When appropriate we refer buyers and sellers to very well qualified agents/brokers around Washington State and throughout the United States, as needed.

 

Q: Can I sign documents electronically or can I sign in person?

A: Most documents can be signed electronically, but some situations may require in person signatures.

 

Q: Do I need to be pre-approved before finding an agent?

A: We recommend you reach out to one of our brokers first, who are very knowledgeable and can suggest a professional real estate lender for a smooth transaction.

 

Q: How does getting pre-approved effect my credit score?

A: It is recommended that you do not apply for pre-approval through several lenders because it may adversely effect your credit score.

 

Q: What are things that can positively or negatively effect my pre-approval from a lender?

A: Credit history, debt income ratio (all payments compared to monthly income), time spent at job, sufficient funds for down payment and closing costs.

 

Q: Can I choose my own lender?

A: Yes, but you may be best served by one of our amazing in house home mortgage specialists. Ultimately, it is your choice.

 

Q: My house needs repairs before selling. Do you have access to loans that I can use to pay for repairs that can be paid back when my house sells?

A: Yes. We have a program to help sellers with the cost of repairs. There are some qualification standards. Please contact any one of our brokers and ask about the “Windermere Ready” program.
